There are several articles that can be located from Scoreboard Canada's AIG Corruption section.  They go into detail how AIG Life Of Canada's President Mr. Peter McCarthy and his staff used fraudulent methods to force and ill employee to quit her job and battle seven months to get short-term disability insurance she was entitled to

There is also a section on how I (Ron Hicks) had to threaten Great West Life with criminal action when they cut Margaret off of long-term benefits by using fraudulent methods
Please Note: These articles were posted on Scoreboard in 2002 and have been updated often.

When you apply for long term disability benefits through your private company they make you apply to CPP.  This is wrong. It creates, billions of dollars profit for insurance companies at tax Canadian tax payers expense. You pay for your policy, why should the government pay you if need to file a claim? Please sign the petition and contact your MP and demand change.
